Move your team to Hull
Roll Hull out to your team, from organization setup to carrying over your project instructions
This guide covers rolling Hull out to a team that already uses another AI coding tool. Most of the work is organization setup and carrying over the instructions your projects already have.
Create your organization
Create an organization at app.withhull.com and choose a plan. Teams is $19 per user per month with a minimum of 5 seats; Enterprise is priced by contract. See Set up a team and Plans.
Set policies before inviting people
- Set per-member daily limits and a low balance alert. See Cost controls.
- On Enterprise, choose allowed providers and models. See Model access controls.
- On Enterprise, set up SSO so people sign in with company accounts.
- Create any shared agent modes your team needs. See Organization modes.
Start with a pilot group
Invite a few people first. See Members and roles. Ask them to install a Hull surface and sign in with the invited email: Hull Desktop, the Hull CLI, or the VS Code extension. Hull can run alongside your current tool while you try it.
Carry over project instructions
Hull reads AGENTS.md from your project automatically, and also reads CLAUDE.md. If your repositories already have one of these, there's nothing to convert. For rules in other tools' formats, move the content into AGENTS.md or Hull rules. See AGENTS.md, Rules and Migrate from another tool.
Connect your repositories and workflow
Install the Hull GitHub App to use cloud agents and code review on your repositories. See GitHub and the other integrations.
Watch usage, then roll out
Check the Usage page after the first week to see spend by model, user and project. See Usage analytics. When the pilot is going well, add seats and invite the rest of the team. Track progress with the AI adoption score.
