Providers
Connect Hull to Hull Gateway, cloud model providers, AI gateways or local models.
A provider is where Hull sends model requests. Hull Gateway is built in and needs no setup beyond signing in. You can also connect your own accounts with model providers, AI gateways and local runtimes, and use them side by side.

Connect a provider
Open Settings, go to Providers and choose Add provider.
Provider config lives in hull.jsonc (or hull.json), globally in ~/.config/hull/ or per project.
Hide providers
To hide providers you don't use, list their IDs in disabled_providers:
{
"$schema": "https://app.withhull.com/config.json",
"disabled_providers": ["openai", "groq"]
}To allow only specific providers and hide everything else, use enabled_providers:
{
"$schema": "https://app.withhull.com/config.json",
"enabled_providers": ["hull", "anthropic"]
}Both fields take provider IDs, the lowercase identifier before the slash in provider/model (for example hull, anthropic, openai, google).
