Hull Gateway
The built-in Hull Gateway provider: sign in once and use frontier models and Auto routing without managing provider keys.
Hull Gateway is Hull's built-in model provider. Sign in with your Hull account and you can use frontier models from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and others, plus Auto routing, without creating provider accounts or managing API keys.
Hull Gateway is the default provider in Hull Desktop, the VS Code extension, the JetBrains plugin, the Hull CLI and cloud agents. Its provider ID is hull.
Sign in
Open Hull Desktop and choose Sign in. Complete sign-in in your browser, then return to the app. See Desktop setup.

Plans and usage
Hull Gateway usage is covered by your Hull plan:
- Free includes limited managed AI for evaluation.
- Starter and Pro include a monthly AI allowance and Auto routing through Hull Gateway. Once you use your allowance, you can buy additional usage.
- Teams has a pooled organization allowance with spending controls.
- Enterprise adds managed Hull Gateway with model policies and Enterprise BYOK.
Allowances reset each billing period and don't roll over. See pricing and Usage and billing.
Models
The Hull Gateway catalog updates on the server, so new models appear without an update to Hull. Open the model picker to see what's available, including the Auto tiers:

To route Hull Gateway requests through your own provider account, add a key on the Bring your own key page of the dashboard. To bypass Hull Gateway entirely, connect a provider directly.

Connected accounts
If you signed up with one identity (for example Google), you can link others, such as GitHub, from Connected Accounts in your profile.
