Anthropic

Use Claude models in Hull with your own Anthropic API key.

Connect your Anthropic account to use Claude models directly with your own API key. Anthropic bills you for usage.

You can also use Claude without an Anthropic account through Hull Gateway, or route Hull Gateway requests through your Anthropic key with Gateway BYOK.

Get an API key

  1. Sign in to the Anthropic Console.
  2. Open API keys and choose Create Key. Name it something like "Hull".
  3. Copy the key right away. Anthropic won't show it again.

Connect Anthropic

Open Settings, go to Providers, choose Add provider, select Anthropic and paste your key.

Tips

  • Prompt caching: Hull uses Anthropic prompt caching automatically, which lowers cost and latency on long sessions.
  • Rate limits: Anthropic limits requests by usage tier. If you keep hitting limits, use Claude through Hull Gateway or OpenRouter instead.
