Interface tour

The sidebar, the session view, panels and the environment panel.

The sidebar holds your projects and sessions.

  • Search (⌘ K) finds sessions, projects and commands.
  • New session (⌘ N) starts a session.
  • Projects opens a board of your work across projects.
  • Review is your inbox of GitHub pull requests and issues.
  • Wiki generates and answers questions from documentation of your project. See Wiki and memory.
  • Automations lists scheduled work. See Automations.
  • Pinned sessions stay at the top.
  • Activity (⌘ ⌥ U) shows what changed across sessions.

Right-click a session to rename, pin, archive or delete it, copy its path or ID, or open its folder in a terminal. Right-click a project to open it in Finder, start or stop its dev server, rename it, or remove it.

Spaces

Spaces group projects, for example by client or team. Create one with New space, then use Move to space on a project. Switch spaces with ⌘ ⌥ ← / →.

Session view

The session shows the conversation, the agent's tool calls, and the plans and task lists it creates. The header has Chat history, Session actions and Open in editor (⌘ O).

Panels

Open panels on the right with Add panel:

Browser

The browser finds local dev servers automatically. From its menu you can open tabs, capture a screenshot, open DevTools, and clear cookies or cache. Annotations you draw on a page can be added to the composer, so the agent sees exactly what you mean.

Environment panel

The environment panel collects what the session is working with: the Repository, the Pull request, the Editor, Pinned messages, Text markers, Project instructions and a Notepad.
