Hull Desktop

The Hull app for macOS, Windows and Linux. Plan, build, review and ship with agents on your own machine.

Hull Desktop is the app where you work with Hull's agents on your own projects. It runs the agent on your computer, works directly in your repositories, and keeps every session, plan, diff and terminal in one window.

On your computer the app is named Hull Code. This section calls it Hull Desktop to tell it apart from the CLI and the IDE extensions.

What you can do

  • Work in your repositories. Ask for a change, investigate a bug or plan a feature. The agent reads your code, edits files and runs commands in your project.
  • Plan before you build. Switch to plan mode, review the plan, then implement it in the same session or a new one.
  • Run work in parallel. Keep several sessions going at once, each in your project or in its own Git worktree.
  • Review and ship. Read every change in the diff panel, undo what you don't want, then commit, push and open a pull request without leaving the app.
  • Automate recurring work. Schedule tasks that run on their own and report back.
  • Extend the agent. Add MCP servers, skills, rules and workflows.

Everything runs locally

The app ships with the Hull runtime built in, so there is nothing else to install. Your code stays on your machine; the agent sends the context it needs to the model you choose.
